Awards

1st place in the student oral presentation

Jun-Jian Justin Wang (PhD Candidate) received the 1st place in the student oral presentation and travel award at the Disinfection Byproduct Symposium at the 248th American Chemical Society meeting at San Francisco, CA. The title of his talk is “Impact of the rim fire on disinfection byproduct precursors in forested wetlands”.

 

Honorable Mention Award at USEPA P3 Competition.

Amanda Voges, Binbin Li, Devin Schultze, Greg Edison, Hechu Zhu, Joshua Hull, and Renee Lyons received honorable mention awards in USEPA P3 competition at Washington for their works in Clemson Vanishing Firefly Project (April 2014)

 

Distinguished Graduate Fellowship

Jun-Jian Wang (PhD student) received a prestigious $5,000 Clemson University Distinguished Graduate Fellowship (Mar 2014)

 

Honorable Mention Award at USEPA P3 Competition

Jianing Dai, William Wilson, Elizabeth O’Rourke received honorable mention awards in USEPA P3 competition at Washington for their works in electricity generation using wetland detritus materials using microbial fuel cells (April 2011)
